Pleasant Hill Pool - 2025 Swim Lessons

 Morning Session 1: June 2 - June 11 from 10-11 AM

• Program Enrollment: May 1, 2025 - June 1, 2025
• Swim lessons will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for 2 weeks.
• AM 1 dates are June 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11
• Make-up lessons will be held on the 3rd week if needed.

Starfish: 6 months - 3 years

Class Duration: 1 hour

Course Fee: $50

• Child must be accompanied by a parent in the water at all times.

• The goal is to have both the parent and child be comfortable in the water and see the pool as fun.

• Parents and children will play games, sing songs and be introduced to basic water skills such as blowing bubbles, kicking and being in different body positions.

Sea Turtles: 3-5 years

Class Duration: 1 hour

Course Fee: $50

• Children are not expected to swim on their own and will be assisted by an instructor.

• The goal is to make the children feel comfortable and aware of their surroundings in water.

• Children will learn how to safely enter and exit the water, submerge their mouth, nose and eyes practicing breath control, front and back float, changing direction in water and swimming on front and back with assistance.

Stingrays: 6-12 years

Class Duration: 1 hour

Course Fee: $50

• Children should be confident enough to swim on their own.

• The goal is for children to be able to confidently demonstrate different strokes and build on skills from the sea turtles level.

• Children will learn to dive from a kneeling position, tread water, improve stroke development and build endurance through swimming farther distances.
